One button was issued in association with the March 4, 1909 Presidential inauguration. The button reading "TAFT" contains an Allied Printing Trades Council, 258, Chicago, union label. Item donor Susan H. Douglas dates these buttons to the 1908 Presidential campaign; the full-color portrait button reading "WM. H. TAFT" was made using a four-color process and is likely to date to well after the campaign.
