Title: Daniel Pastorius House (Green Tree Tavern), Germantown
Notes: The Green Tree Tavern was constructed in 1748 by Daniel Francis Pastorius adjacent to the homestead of his grandfather Francis Daniel Pastorius, the founder of Germantown. In 1930, the building was moved from 6019 to 6023 Germantown Avenue and altered to make room for additions to the First Methodist Church. The site is also known as the Hornet Nest.
